Lyall is keen for Team Arrow to compete in this one-day event. Grades a to D, U17 boys, U17 girls and Under 15 are all represented. He's planning to go up the night before and camp near the venue.
The course is over hilly Waikato countryside. Check out the course profile:
Should be a great race, as Te Awamutu always put on a good show, and there is prize money for all grades. Entries needed by 4th October, and Lyall has copies of the entry forms.

Spin Class
Check out Lyall's crew in action! It's a bit hard to make out some of the fine details - apparently the air was thick with steam from eight frantically spinning pairs of legs. Well, that's what Lyall said anyway. Actually, well done to Lyall for taking these and sending them to me!

Michaela's win!
Great day for Team Arrow at Hawera, with the usual friendly, fun crew, topped off with a win for Michaela over the 37 km rolling circuit.
About forty riders fielded, and Michaela rode away from her co-markers for a solo win by around a minute!
Way to go, Michaela!
Tamara and Tim both had great rides, starting further back into the field, putting in their usual high work rate. As Lyall says, they produce hard riders in Hawera, and they gave our guys a good workout.
All in all, a great day! Tamara and Michaela both picked up spot prizes as well. The folks in Hawera really looked after us, and thanked Team Arrow for making the journey north. We're looking forward to getting back there soon!

Hawera this weekend - 10th Aug
Lyall advises that about three of the Team Arrow crew are heading to Hawera this coming Saturday for a race at Normanby. It'll be about a 40 km circuit, not sure of the exact route, but probably over rolling country.
